Life is pretty much service, study for Service, sleep, repeat. Throw in food, meetings and a game of fútbol and that was my week! I just finished a short service day of 5 hours. It’s so different then it was in the states. People that we would call good calls in the states are people that we don’t go back on here because there are others that are more interested.
The language can get pretty difficult at times and it’s hard to feel like you are doing anything productive, but then Jah answers your prayers! Yesterday I had my first personal study. (Next time I get to count her! 😊) She was my first door that I tried when I got down here. It feels so amazing to be able to teach someone the truth in their own language. A language that you barely understand. And then you realize it was all Jehovah that helped you. Today I finally found my call Michelle. She is the one that came to the meeting 2 weeks ago. She is living with her boyfriend and his family. It’s hard because her boyfriends mom is a strong evangelical. So is Michelle but she is so inquisitive. She is super smart and has many questions but she is also resonable when you share something with her from the Bible. She trusts what the Bible says. She visits her mom on the weekends and she wants to study there because it will be easier. So hopefully Saturday!
The children in this country are so adorable! They absolutely love the Caleb and Sophia videos!
It’s so cool being in such a small town too. All the people in the town know the two gringas as Jehovah’s witnesses. I think that’s part of the reason we get so many listening ears, but if you are going to listen, we are going to talk to you! After 3.5 months Michelle has 7 progressive studies. And between the two of us we have 8 more possibilities after last week. There are more interested people here than there is time!
The service group says hi and wants you all to come down and help!
Between the babies and the cute baby animals, I can’t handle this place 😊

The children’s eyes are so beautiful. I am enjoying your blog and hearing of your experiences. How’s your suntan ?

Sooo…Do you have room for 6 more??? 😄 Love your adventures! And you’re absolutely right, gringos have a much better success rate of open doors because of the curiosity of why you’re there, a nice advantage even with the language barrier. All your Escobar girls send you love and hugs, they enjoy your pics and stories too! 😊💕🤗
