This weekend was really relaxing. Saturday we went out in service and then a couple studies came over for lunch. They came over because someone in their family was having a quincinera and they wanted something to do instead of going to the party.
This is China. She is 16 and she studies with Michelle. She is only in chapter 2 of the teach book but she goes to every Sunday meeting and decided to hang out with us instead of going to a huge party! I love the young people here. After lunch we went to the beach and played in the sand and played fútbol.
Sunday was a much needed rest day after the meeting. 31 in attendance!
Monday we went to the beach again for the morning in Las lisas with some friends from another congregation.
Then we went on Natalie’s study. She is the 10 year old that Michelle studies with. She told us she stopped saluting the flag! She stood there and didn’t put her hand on her heart! We were so proud of her. (We practiced last week how to do it and what to say if anyone asked and questions) She said there was a little boy in her class who didn’t salute the flag either when she asked him why he said he was an evengelist and he couldn’t. She replied with a scripture and said saluting the flag was worship and Jehovah God requires exclusive devotion! She’s amazing, she marked the scripture.
Just thought you would enjoy this super cute picture of her cousin Rodrigo with a chick.
The Vians studying with her Grandma.
Today was a return visit and study day. There are so many interested people here that it is almost impossible to get back to them. Even though I don’t have many calls of my own I feel super productive because with me we can split up and go to more people. But they don’t mind if 4 people go to the door. They just pull of 4 chairs. The kids LOVE the Caleb and Sophia videos! They are glued to the screen and watch them non stop! Here are some service pics for ya…
Goats, cows, sheep, dogs, chickens… You can find it all in the street.
Outside our Kingdom Hall. It’s an open air space above and brothers and sisters live below.
This chick wanted to see what was going on.

This is a typical house here. They are called “Rancho ”
I’d have to say we had a day well spent. After preaching to interested people for 8 hours we go to the beach to watch the sun set. I think I’ve found a slice of paradise…
I know maintains a blog is a lot of work, but it’s very much enjoyed!!! Thank you for allowing us to live vicariously through you!!!
