A Mango and A Meeting

Today was my day off, so of course it started at 4am because of the rooster next door! I think he is mental. He has no idea when the sun is actually coming up. He just thinks it’s fun to wake people up at 4, every morning! So, roosters are officially my least favorite animals right now. I was able to get back to sleep but I only slept til 6:30. Why does it happen on the day you can sleep in you always wake up early. I think it is one of the great mysteries of life.

It was laundry day this morning. I want to say washing clothes by hand was fun, because it was, I’m just worried that that if I do, I’m going to get tired of it quick. I had Michelle with me though and she always makes things interesting! Then we picked mangos from the tree in the back yard, it was not easy… but they weren’t ripe so we couldn’t eat them. We did make a smoothie. We have so much fruit! Someone gave us 8 huge papayas. Thank goodness we all like Papaya. All the fruit is so good down here. It is so fresh! Especially a nice cold coconut after doing laundry!

Today was also meeting day. I say day because the midweek meeting is at 2:30 in the afternoon. Including me, there are 16 publishers here, and there were 27 at the meeting today! The meeting flew by! Here is the youngst and newest publisher. I think we is around 12 and he did an awesome job giving the Bible reading. He is the cousin of Natalie. The little girl Michelle studies with. She answered twice and raised her hand more. I love the kids here! You will never guess who else came to the meeting. The lady named Lady that Michelle studied with yesterday and her sister in law who I am going to start studying with tomorrow! She was the one who didn’t even want to talk to us because she was evangelical!

Here they are! Michelle, Lady with her 2 year old daughter Ashley, Natalie, Michelle, and me! (I’m the really white one if you didn’t figure that out) This place is amazing! I gave Michelle here Bible teach book today and I’ll let you know how the study goes tomorrow!
